OGT ChIP browser

OGT have developed an in-house ChIP browser as a tool to analyse ChIP microarray data in relation to its relative gene position, thus reducing the time taken to analyse the data.

The ChIP browser displays the array data in genome order allowing the user to scroll "along the data sequence" and view the results. The genes are jointly displayed enabling them to be directly compared to individual probes.

OGT ChIP browser features

  • Files (sequence, array or data) are loaded via a file browser panel
  • Scrolling of the array data panel enables loading of many datasets with no data compression
  • A gene searching capability enables moving between genes of interest
  • Data can be viewed as ratios of red/green or green/red in both linear and log formats
  • Additional data can be displayed aligned to the genome sequence
  • A robust code employed to identify and handle errors
