Custom array design
Benefit from 10 years of array design experience that has been perfected through the development of OGT's class-leading CytoSure™ arrays. Based on your input, our expert team will design your custom array in any format required. We can design arrays against any fully or partially sequenced genome as well as against sequencing data. We have designed hundreds of custom arrays representing a whole range of different organisms from prokaryotes to fungi, plants, animals and humans. These designs also include validated microarrays for organisms with genomes extremely high or low in their GC content.
The array content is selected from OGT's proprietary Oligome™ database – a database of more than 23 million oligonucleotide probes designed to the latest release of the human genome. All probes are in-silico optimised and empirical validation of the entire array content ensures optimalperformance of arrays used to process precious samples. The array design is shared with the customer for approval via our dedicated Oligome viewer software and any suggested adjustments or alterations can easily be implemented prior to manufacturing as well as between individual print runs.
Flexible array formats to suit all requirements
Multiple arrays on a single slide can reduce costs and improve consistency. Depending on your desired level of focus you can design 1, 2, 4, or 8 arrays per slide for maximum flexibility.
